The boat comes to you

Captain ET trailers the boat, so you are not tied to one stretch of water. Tell him where you are staying and he will pick the launch that puts you on the flattest water that morning. If the Gulf is rough, he moves you somewhere protected rather than cancelling.

Charters away from Englewood carry a trip fee based on distance, and it's always quoted before you book.

Good to know

The four things people ask before booking.

Do I need any experience?

None at all. Instruction is included and most first timers are up and riding in the same session. Captain ET has coached hundreds of people onto a board for the first time, and the wave gets shaped to whoever is riding it.

What should I bring?

Sunscreen, a towel, water and sunglasses. Boards, vests and ropes are on the boat. Bring your own board if you have one you love, and a cooler if you want drinks aboard.

How many people can come?

The boat seats 14, but Coast Guard rules limit every charter to 6 paying guests, and that includes kids. Plan on up to 6. The price covers your whole group, so it never changes with headcount.

What happens if the weather turns?

Light rain and clouds do not cancel a trip. Lightning, high wind or rough seas do. If Captain ET calls it, you reschedule or get a full refund. More often he just moves you to protected water instead.

Ready to get on the water?

Pick your date, pay a deposit, and Captain ET confirms personally. Usually within a few hours.
