Siesta is one of the better known beaches in the country and almost nobody thinks to book a wakesurf session while they are staying there. The Heyday H22 comes to you on a trailer, so a week on the key can include a morning on the water without anybody driving far.

Up to six guests on one flat rate, plus a trip fee for the run up. Boards, vests, ropes, coaching and fuel are all in it.

How a Siesta session works

Captain ET reads the conditions that morning and puts the session wherever the water is cleanest and closest to where your group is staying. If you are renting a place with a dock that has enough water, he can pick you up there, which saves everybody the parking. Early is better here the same as everywhere on this coast, and the light at the end of the day is the reason the sunset trip books out first.

Where we meet

Captain ET picks the launch spot based on the conditions that morning and where your group is coming from, then confirms it with you when he confirms your date. If you have a dock with enough water, he can meet you there instead, which is usually the easiest version for everybody.

What we run

Private wakesurf charters with pro instruction and Phase Five boards for every level. Dolphin and wildlife tours. Sunset cruises at golden hour. Or a Day on the Bay with no schedule at all. Every trip is private, every charter rate covers the whole group up to six guests, and everything is included. See full pricing.

Questions about Siesta Key

We are renting a house on Siesta. Can you pick us up?

If the house has a dock with enough water, usually yes. Send Captain ET the address and he will tell you straight whether it works.

Is there a travel charge to come to Siesta Key?

There is a trip fee for charters outside Englewood, and it depends on how far the boat has to travel. Captain ET gives you the exact number before you commit to anything. No surprises on the day.

Is it too rough out there for beginners?

Captain ET keeps the session in protected water, which is exactly why first-timers do fine here. The wave is adjustable and every level is welcome.

How far ahead should we book?

Sooner than you think in season. Sunset is one departure a night and it is the first thing to go.

Other places we run

We trailer the boat all over this coast. Sarasota, Venice, Boca Grande, Punta Gorda & Port Charlotte, and anywhere else within about two hours of Englewood.
